Meeting every second Friday of the month, the Emerging Media BC Community gets together to discuss and learn about not only the new VR/AR innovations but also many other emerging technologies. As a diverse community that features faculty, staff, students and industry professionals, the Emerging Media BC Community of Practice has a place and function for everyone.

VIRTUAL REALITY AUGMENTED REALITY ASSOCIATION

The VR/AR Association (VRARA) is an international organization designed to foster collaboration between innovative companies and brands in the VR and AR ecosystem that accelerates growth, fosters research and education, helps develop industry standards, connects member organizations and promotes the services of member companies.

VIRTUAL REALITY FOR EDUCATION

A graduate-level research lab at Teachers College, Columbia University where we look into the affordances of games and gaming in learning.
